    As Senior Data Analyst – Internal Audit, you will advance the department’s analytics capabilities by designing data models, dashboards, and tools to support internal audits and risk assessments. You’ll collaborate across teams and train auditors in data analytics, driving improvements in audit effectiveness.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and optimize dynamic analysis workflows, scripts, and interactive dashboards to deliver actionable insights.

    • Design innovative data models and visualizations that empower audit teams to drive informed decision-making and enhance audit effectiveness.

    • Collaborate closely with audit teams to strengthen risk assessment processes and streamline audit execution using data-driven solutions.

    • Monitor, analyze, and communicate the results of analytics initiatives to highlight impact and drive continuous improvement.

    • Proactively identify new data sources and emerging risk areas throughout the organization to inform strategic audit planning.

    • Empower auditors by training them on advanced analytics tools, techniques, and best practices.

    • Develop a deep understanding of Hologic’s operations and financial landscape to provide targeted, high-value analytics support.

    • Stay at the forefront of analytics trends, technologies, and methodologies, sharing relevant insights to foster innovation within the team.

    • Contribute to a variety of audit projects and special initiatives, expanding the reach and influence of analytics across the organization.

    Minimum Requirements/Qualification

    • Degree in finance, mathematics, data science, or other business-related subject areas.

    • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.

    • Strong skills in data mining, transformation, and modelling

    • Proficient with Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, and Python

    • Knowledge of Oracle and AuditBoard a plus

    • Experience developing analytical tools/apps in line with security and policy requirements

    • Independent problem solver with a focus on continuously improving operations

    • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior management

    • Fluent in English language speaking and writing capabilities

    The annualized base salary range for this role is $81,900 - $128,100 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
