As a **Security Officer - Patrol** in **Dunn, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol professional at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and attention to detail support a positive experience for employees and visitors. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the retail and distribution environment.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
