About the Role** **:
The **Community Manager** will be the voice and pulse of Matterport’s social media community. You’ll engage directly with followers, customers, and creators across our global social platforms, helping turn conversations into meaningful relationships and user advocacy.
You’ll work in lockstep with the Social Media Manager Lead and collaborate with marketing, customer success, and product teams to create an authentic, on-brand experience that reflects Matterport’s innovation and leadership in 3D digital twin technology.
Key Responsibilities** **:
+ Engage daily with Matterport’s online communities across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube.
+ Respond to comments, questions, and messages ina timely, brand-aligned manner.
+ Monitor social sentiment, flag trends or opportunities, andidentifypotential advocates or user stories.
+ Build and manage relationships with industry influencers, creators, and partners.
+ Support content creation by surfacing user-generated content and community insights.
+ Collaborate with the social media team to develop community-driven campaigns and engagement initiatives.
+ Track community KPIs and provide reports on growth, engagement, and brand sentiment.
+ Manage moderation and uphold Matterport’s community guidelines to ensure a positive brand experience.
Basic** **Qualifications** **:
+ Bachelor's degreerequiredfrom an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
+ A track recordofcommitmenttopreviousemployers
+ 3+years experiencein social media management, community management, or digital marketing,ideally within tech, SaaS, orproptech.
+ Deep understanding of social media best practices and trends across platforms.
+ Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Comfortableengaging with professional audiences (B2B) as well as creative communities (e.g., real estate agents, photographers, designers).
+ Experienceusing social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience managing global or multilingual communities.
+ Familiarity with Matterport or 3D visualization tools.
+ Background in real estate, architecture, construction, or related industries.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams
