As a Patrol Officer in a utilities environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere for everyone on site. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and uphold Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any irregularities.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Document and report any unusual observations or incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed, following instructions from site leadership and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to those on site.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
