    Material Handler

    **Location:** Newton, NC

    **Pay:** $18.00/hr

    **Shift:** 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

     

    We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring both inventory accuracy and safety compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility

    + Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods according to company standards

    + Prepare, package, and stage outbound shipments for accurate, on-time delivery

    + Maintain precise inventory records and promptly report discrepancies

    + Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

    + Adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment

    Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling

    + Ability to lift and move heavy materials

    + Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Forklift certification preferred (but not required)

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Ability to read and write in English

    + Proven ability to follow instructions accurately
