**Pay Rate:** $19.00/hr (based on experience, education, and location)
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (CST)
**Location:** Onsite – Irving, TX
Mandatory Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• TX Pharmacy Technician License
• KY Pharmacy Technician License (if applicable)
• 1–3 years of data intake pharmacy experience
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. when needed
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and communication skills
Role Overview
The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists by performing the technical, nonjudgmental aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control. You’ll work under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and adhere to regulatory and company policies, including HIPAA and the US Oncology Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities
• Take initiative and maintain a proactive, enthusiastic approach
• Check orders for completeness and verify patient information
• Read and interpret prescriptions accurately
• Calculate correct dosage volumes and convert between measurement systems
• Assist pharmacists in medication distribution and pharmaceutical care
• Enter and process new prescriptions following company policies
• Process prescription refills, including third-party claim adjudication
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Support phone calls related to pharmacy operations
• Follow all applicable government regulations and HIPAA standards
**Work Environment & Physical Demand** s
• Regular exposure to chemotherapeutic agents and medicinal preparations
• Requires manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and accurate measurement handling
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform moderate physical tasks
