    Welder – Burleson, TX

    **Pay:** $21.24 – $23.25/hour (Temporary-to-Hire)

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday

    **Type:** Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

    Position Summary:

    We’re seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Burleson, TX. In this role, you will weld, fabricate, and repair metal components for a variety of products, including machinery parts, plant equipment, motors, and more. This is a **temporary-to-hire opportunity** with competitive pay and the potential for long-term growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Fabrication & Welding

    + Weld metal components using brazing, arc, gas, or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.

    + Assist Fitters in positioning, aligning, and assembling fabricated plates, structural shapes, and weldments.

    + Perform gas welding and tack-welding per layouts, diagrams, or work orders.

    + Weld overlapping edges of sheet metal components and assemble sheet metal structures such as control panels.

    + Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components into structural forms.

    Work & Equipment Preparation

    + Select welding equipment and plan layouts and assemblies.

    + Set up welding equipment, adjust amperage/voltage, and ensure proper gas flow.

    + Align and secure parts using blocking, braces, clamps, and jigs.

    + Preheat workpieces as needed.

    Welding Operations

    + Select appropriate torch tips, filler rods, and flux based on specifications.

    + Manually guide electrodes or welding guns along weld lines to achieve precise results.

    + Perform flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead welding.

    + Apply filler material as needed to complete welds.

    Finishing, Repair, and Maintenance

    + Inspect welds for size, quality, and defects.

    + Grind, chip, or cut to remove excess weld or correct imperfections.

    + Repair broken or cracked metal components.

    + Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    + 3–5 years of welding experience preferred; completion of an apprenticeship or welding certification a plus.

    + Proficient with manufacturing, assembly, and welding equipment.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.

    + Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred.

    **Pay Details:** $21.24 to $23.00 per hour
