    Case Manager (Healthcare/Pharmacy) Cary, NC

     

    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire an experienced **Case Manager** for an onsite assignment in Cary, NC with the potential to convert to full-time employment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong healthcare, pharmacy, and reimbursement experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

     

    **Pay Rate** $22.00-$24.00/hr.(based on experience)

    **Schedule** Monday–Friday

    _Shift options include:_

    • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    • 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    • 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

    **Location** Cary, NC

    Mandatory Skills

    • 2+ years of Pharmacy or Healthcare experience

    • Detail-oriented, independent, and able to meet SLAs

    • Comfortable working with minimal supervision

    • Experience handling high-volume benefits verification & insurance re-verifications

    Position Overview

    The Case Manager will interact closely with healthcare providers, patients, and drug manufacturer programs to resolve complex reimbursement cases. This role requires strong knowledge in insurance plans, benefit structures, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, and prior authorization procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Handle inbound calls and customer questions within SLAs

    • Assist providers and patients with claim denials and appeal management

    • Advocate with payers for product-specific coverage

    • Communicate product benefits and support payer policy influence

    • Monitor drug coverage policies across multiple payers

    • Identify denial trends and create summary findings for client reporting

    • Conduct external research to locate alternate funding sources

    • Manage escalated issues and complex reimbursement inquiries

    • Maintain detailed documentation and work independently with minimal oversight

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • 5+ years’ experience in healthcare, insurance verification, Medicare/Medicaid, billing, pharmacy, or manufacturer support

    • 2+ years of customer service and 2+ years of medical/insurance experience

    • Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills

    • Excellent communication skills

    **Pay Details:** $24.00 per hour
