    Forklift Driver/Material Handler needed in Moncks Corner, SC!!

     

    We are seeking a reliable, safety-minded **Warehouse Operator** to join our team. In this role, you will support the hands-on movement, storage, and handling of products to keep warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

     

    As a Warehouse Operator, you will use lift trucks and RF scan equipment to receive, move, store, pick, and load materials while following company procedures and customer specifications. You’ll play an essential role in protecting product integrity, ensuring accurate inventory, and supporting seamless inbound and outbound flow.

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Operate lift trucks safely to unload, transport, store, pick, and load products.

    + Perform daily inspection checks on equipment, complete battery changes, and assist with general housekeeping.

    + Receive, count, store, and pick inventory using RF scanners and documented procedures.

    + Inspect products for damage, ensure proper packaging, and make minor repairs if needed.

    + Follow work orders and customer instructions to stage and prepare shipments correctly.

    + Identify and report product issues, including damages, shortages, or misplaced inventory.

    + Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area while following PPE guidelines.

    + Support cycle counts, physical inventory events, and overall warehouse upkeep.

    Qualifications

    Education

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Valid Driver’s License

    Experience

    + 0–6 months in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment (training provided)

    + **Current Forklift Certification preferred**

    Key Competencies

    + Safe operation of lift trucks and material handling equipment

    + Ability to accurately receive, store, pick, and load product with minimal damage

    + Comfortable using RF scanners and following inventory control procedures

    + Able to recognize and report product discrepancies and perform simple packaging fixes

    + Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and product quality

    + Dependable, punctual, and able to meet productivity standards

    + Maintains a clean and structured workspace

    + Works well under time constraints and adapts to changing priorities

    Safety & Physical Requirements

    + Comfortable working at elevated heights such as pipe bridges and catwalks

    + Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

    + Willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled hours, including occasional short-notice shifts

    + Able to perform in a fast-paced, physically active warehouse environment

    Work Environment

    + Industrial warehouse setting with typical manufacturing conditions

    + Possible exposure to loud equipment, fluctuating temperatures, and standard warehouse hazards

    + Required PPE includes hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots (minimum)

    **Pay Details:** $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
