    Job Title: Lead Design Architect

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic Lead Design Architect to spearhead the design of multifamily, retail, and other commercial projects. This role involves client interaction, concept creation, and leading design efforts within the office. The position requires transforming design concepts into master planning and urban planning solutions, including site plans and building layouts for client and community presentations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a Director of Design role and potentially advance to a Design Principal position in the future.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead the design of multifamily, retail, and commercial projects.

    + Transform design concepts into master planning and urban planning solutions.

    + Develop and present design ideas across multiple media formats.

    + Prepare quick concept studies and generate master/site plans that meet programmatic and zoning requirements.

    + Collaborate effectively with clients and principals to achieve intended design outcomes.

    + Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong communication and organizational skills.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit or related software.

    + Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.

    + Ability to prepare designs for master planning and urban planning.

    + Strong ability to create and develop design ideas within budget and timeline.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Lumion, PhotoShop, Studio 3D Max, Rhino, and SketchUp.

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with schematic design, conceptual design, and design development.

    + Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Flexibility and adaptability to change.

    + Open to candidates with gaps on their resume for valid reasons.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a mid-size architectural firm with a rich history of creating urban spaces and award-winning designs. The office environment is casual and laid-back, consisting of a team of 15-20 people, including both junior and senior staff. The firm works on large-scale projects, including multi-family and mixed-use developments, with project values ranging from $20-50 million. The firm offers a flexible work schedule, including hybrid work options up to one day a week depending on project needs. The first few months require in-office presence to establish a rhythm, with flexibility for early/late start and finish times, snow days, and sick days.     This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

     

    - Healthcare are paid by company (once permanent)- They pay for parking pass or public transportation pass (while on contract)- Good office tenure and experienced Architects to learn and be mentored by
