Responsibilities
+ Develop technical drawings throughout all phases of a project.
+ Provide experiential and technical knowledge to solve design and construction issues.
+ Communicate priorities to both internal and external project teams.
+ Ensure quality work products are delivered.
+ Develop and enforce CAD/Revit standards.
+ Assist the Principal in preparing project schedules and implementing project work plans.
+ Interact with outside consultants and agencies.
+ Work collaboratively with a team on larger projects.
Essential Skills
+ Architectural degree from an accredited university.
+ 10 to 15 years of experience in the production and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice.
+ Construction experience is essential for more experienced architects.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
+ Ability to lead a team and manage communication effectively.
+ Experience in commercial, warehouse, healthcare, and industrial projects, including steel/cement frame ground-up, food production facilities, data centers, and cold storage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to work on multiple projects in multiple phases, typically 2/3 jobs every week.
+ Versatility in managing various tasks.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Advanced knowledge of CAD and Revit software.
+ Proficiency in developing and documenting standards for design and construction drawings.
+ Knowledge of best practices for professional quality drawings.
+ Understanding of technical terminology in the architectural and construction industry.
+ Thorough knowledge of applicable building codes for independent code analysis and compliance.
Work Environment
The office environment is respectful and casual, encouraging collaboration. The role offers experience in all phases of architecture, AXP credits, a collaborative team, a 401k, benefits, 10 holidays, and closure during the last week of December covered by the firm, with flexibility for religious holidays. The location requires a commute of 45 minutes or less.

This is a Permanent position based out of Somerville, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
