Structural Project Engineer/Project Manager
Job Description
+ As a Structural Project Engineer or Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of designing and managing a diverse portfolio of structural engineering projects from conception to completion.
+ You will collaborate with Site/Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, Architects, and Construction Project Managers to produce structural engineering construction documents that meet client requirements, adhere to code specifications, and adapt to site conditions.
+ Your role as the primary point of contact will involve clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and strategic oversight, ensuring projects are completed on time and within quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Manage multiple projects across various clients simultaneously, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met and communicated.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
+ Participate in new client pursuits as necessary.
+ Manage the financial performance for projects, including accounts receivable, profit, and efficiency.
+ Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
+ Manage project plans, including allocating resources, preparing and monitoring project budgets, and scheduling within project parameters.
+ Conduct risk assessment on projects, estimating potential risks along with costs and probabilities.
+ Define design criteria and supervise efficient design and plan preparation, ensuring quality and compliance with company, client, and industry standards.
+ Demonstrate an understanding of constructability and complex design, and identify liability issues related to design and construction.
+ Coordinate effectively with internal disciplines and external project teams.
+ Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Project Designers.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
+ P.E. required for Project Engineer and preferred for Project Manager.
+ 8+ years of experience with general building structural production, preferably with commercial projects such as retail or restaurants for Project Engineer.
+ 5+ years of structural engineering project/management experience, preferably with commercial projects such as retail or restaurants for Project Manager.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office required.
+ Knowledge of Revit, MathCAD, Enercalc & Risa 3D is a plus.

This is a Permanent position based out of West Chester, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
