    Job Title: Healthcare SupportJob Description

     

    This role involves providing safe and efficient patient care services under the supervision and direction of a licensed provider and nurse, primarily focusing on various administrative duties. The position is front office-focused, involving charting patients for a general practice clinic and updating patient billing information.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide patient care services under the supervision of licensed providers and nurses.

    + Perform various administrative tasks, including charting patients and updating billing information.

    + Collaborate with specialty physicians to ensure comprehensive care.

    + Work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a medical assistant.

    + Proficiency in taking vitals.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Experience with healthcare EMR systems.

    + Medical billing knowledge.

    + Full cycle billing experience.

    + Ability to work full-time hours.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in medical billing within internal or family medicine is required.

    + CPT Coding certification is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a clinic environment that is very fast-paced. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Employees will have the opportunity to work with various specialty physicians, and there are great internal benefits available upon going direct.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of THOUSAND OAKS, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
