Description
Job Summary:
The Construction Analyst is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and supporting the seamless integration of fiber optic infrastructure projects. This role acts as a bridge between engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure that all aspects of fiber optic construction align with company standards, project goals, and regulatory requirements. The analyst leverages technical expertise, project coordination skills, and analytical capabilities to drive successful project delivery and integration into existing networks.
Essential Functions:
+ Analyze construction plans, engineering designs, and project requirements to support the integration of fiber optic infrastructure into existing or new networks.
+ Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to develop integration strategies and resolve technical issues.
+ Monitor project progress, identify risks or integration challenges, and recommend solutions to ensure on-time and cost-effective completion.
+ Prepare integration documentation, such as workflow diagrams, status reports, and change requests, to communicate project status and changes.
+ Ensure all construction and integration activities comply with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and quality assurance protocols.
+ Assist with the testing, validation, and commissioning of fiber optic systems after construction and integration phases.
+ Gather, analyze, and integrate data related to network performance, construction metrics, and integration outcomes to support continuous improvement across multiple pieces of design and tracking software.
+ Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project deliverables and integration requirements, inclusive of developing daily completion tracking by field crews.
+ Develop internal reporting and integration between systems to drive performance and clarity across the build life cycle including pre construction, planning and design, construction, quality assurance, logistics, and finance
+ Additional responsibilities as needed to ensure the success of the business.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
+ 5+ years experience in Telecom utility construction, network integration, or telecommunications project management.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, GIS platforms, Quickbase, Salesforce based software etc..).
Other Requirements:
+ Understanding of fiber optic technologies, construction practices, and network infrastructure.
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, and technical documentation.
+ Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Compensation:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000. The actual salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
