Job Description
Join a team at the forefront of piezoelectric materials technology, delivering customized solutions for industries such as Medical Ultrasound, Semiconductor, and Industrial Sensors. As a Crystal Finishing Specialist, you will contribute to the development and production of high-performance components by managing all aspects of the Crystal Finishing area.
Responsibilities
+ Set up, produce, and measure components from part drawings.
+ Utilize advanced mechanical fabrication skills with various machine tools.
+ Operate the person and ADT 7122 dicing saws.
+ Mount parts to tape frames using wafer mounters.
+ Measure parts/features with a toolmakers microscope to ensure correct tolerance.
+ Fabricate thin, lightweight parts to very high tolerances.
+ React to out-of-control conditions and initiate action to prevent product non-conformity.
+ Inspect manufactured parts and perform related data entry.
+ Grind parts to specifications using Disco DAG810 grinders.
+ Prepare sputtering deposition chamber for coating runs.
+ Clean substrates according to work instructions.
+ Document issues and maintain production records.
+ Ensure quality and production requirements meet standards outlined in travelers and blueprints.
+ Participate in total quality management projects for continuous improvement.
+ Report any equipment or facility defects to a supervisor.
+ Comply with all safety rules and company policies.
+ Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment at all times.
+ Perform additional tasks as required by management.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State College, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
