    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator - 1st shift - Up to 26/hr!

    Job Description

    The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will utilize a forklift, pallet jack, and overhead crane to efficiently load and unload trucks. The role involves using ERP and computer systems to track incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing outbound shipments by placing products onto pallets and shrink-wrapping them, preparing bills of lading, packlists, and necessary paperwork, and receiving shipments while matching purchase orders to packlists. The coordinator will document incoming inventory and place items in the correct areas, maintain inventory records, perform audits as needed, and conduct cycle counts. Additionally, the role includes assisting with scheduling the pickup and delivery of parts and materials.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize forklift, pallet jack, and overhead crane for loading and unloading trucks.

    + Track incoming and outgoing shipments using ERP and computer systems.

    + Prepare outbound shipments by placing products onto pallets and shrink-wrapping.

    + Prepare bills of lading, packlists, and necessary paperwork.

    + Receive shipments and match purchase orders to packlists.

    + Document incoming inventory and place items in correct areas.

    + Maintain inventory records, audit as needed, and conduct cycle counts.

    + Assist with scheduling pickup and delivery of parts and materials.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience.

    + Proficiency with forklifts and pallet jacks.

    + Basic computer skills, including data entry in Excel.

    + Understanding of bills of materials.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Machine shop understanding is a plus.

    + Previous kitting experience is advantageous.

    + Experience with SAP or ERP systems is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is set in a custom machine shop environment within a mid-sized company. The work schedule is primarily from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with the need for flexibility to work on Saturdays or adjust start times if necessary. This flexibility is based on individual needs and is influenced by truck shipment times and freight schedules. The dress code is typical for a machine shop setting.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Perrysburg, OH.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.

     

    - First shift role

     

    - Current shipping manager will train this person as replacement eventually

     

    - Company benefits are great - $15 single, $32 family of two, $45 family

     

    - Christmas Bonuses given yearly
