    Job Title: Maintenance Technician $28+

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs on electrical and mechanical systems. Your role will also involve entering all work performed into the CMMS (MP@2) and assisting with equipment and production issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete preventative maintenance and organize maintenance practices.

    + Perform operational maintenance on assigned equipment.

    + Enter all work performed into the CMMS (MP@2).

    + Perform electrical repairs on 480v, 220v, 110v AC/DC systems.

    + Troubleshoot and repair VFDs and PLCs.

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and replace bearings, cylinders, and other mechanical parts.

    + Perform MIG welding.

    + Assist Blade Tech with setup and repairs.

    + Assist operations department with equipment and production issues.

    + Conduct mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Utilize power tools and hand tools to fix issues.

    + Perform maintenance and repairs on packaging machines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience performing mechanical and electrical repairs is a plus.

    + Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and perform repairs.

    + MIG welding experience.

    + Military background in mechanical or electrical fields is advantageous.

    + Proficiency in computer skills using Word, Excel, and maintenance software to create work orders, repair parts list, and equipment repairs and PMs.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment involves cleaning, rinsing, cutting, and distributing various types of produce. It is a cold and wet setting, with temperatures maintained between 34-40 degrees. The floors are consistently wet due to ongoing sanitation and washing processes. The facility uses chlorine and citric acid for cleaning, resulting in a strong odor. Candidates should be asked about any allergies to chlorine.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, KY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $32.00/hr.
