Job Title: Material Handler
Schedules available:
+ Monday- Thursday 6am- 4:30pm
+ Friday- Sunday 6am- 6:30pm
Job Description
You will prepare and kit materials for the production departments, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), and work orders related to material handling, equipment operation, and packaging. This role requires working in a warehouse environment where you will receive and fill orders safely, accurately, and promptly while managing incoming and outgoing materials, finished goods, raw materials, and supplies.
Responsibilities
+ Operate tools and equipment such as computers, handheld scanners, tape guns, calculators, measuring tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and swing reach trucks.
+ Follow all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements.
+ Maintain accurate inventory in all designated warehouses and locations.
+ Ensure work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized.
+ Use strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards by cooperating with upstream and downstream departments.
+ Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update the inventory management system accordingly.
+ Actively participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean, and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities.
+ Work effectively as part of a team in the warehouse process and assist with training and mentoring co-workers.
+ Focus on your development through timely and proactive completion of training.
+ Adhere to your schedule to ensure production goals are met.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in general production, shipping & receiving, packing, packaging, inventory management, RF scanner use, pallet jack operation, unloading, order picking, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, picking, material handling, inventory control, loading, and warehouse inventory management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Able to work in and out of a cleanroom environment.
+ Must have a high school diploma or GED.
+ Ability to lift 40 lbs.
+ Forklift operation experience (certification provided if no experience).

Work Environment
The work environment is a warehouse setting where steel-toed boots are required. The role involves lifting weights of 25+ lbs regularly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Logan, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
