    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in various maintenance tasks and contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical components and systems, including motors, control panels, and PLCs.

    + Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.

    + Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

    + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.

    + Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective solutions.

    + Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.

    + Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and safety.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.

    + Proficient with repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Experience in electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

    + Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and 3-phase systems.

    + Ability to lead and train other technicians on new equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + TIG welding is a significant advantage.

    + Familiarity with schematics and HVAC systems.

    + Willingness to travel for training on new automation equipment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean environment with new automation technology. The position requires wearing beard nets, hair nets, eye protection, and steel-toed boots. Employees must provide their own tools, with support for purchasing through upcoming vouchers. The available shift is 1st shift, running from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Plainfield, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $83200.00/yr.

     

    Clean working environment with new automation being installed, Beard, hair nets, eye protection, and steel toes required.

     

    Must provide your own tools, they are updating there benefits to add in tool and boot vouchers
