    Job Description

    Join our team as a Production Technician, where you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, minor mechanical repairs, and equipment assembly. This role is perfect for those with hands-on experience in working with cars, tractors, diesel trucks, or industrial manufacturing equipment. You will play a crucial part in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and wiring issues using diagnostic tools and schematics. Additionally, you will perform system testing and quality assurance checks to ensure proper functionality, interpret blueprints, maintain accurate documentation of work performed, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repairs.

    + Assemble equipment as needed.

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and wiring issues using diagnostic tools and schematics.

    + Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks.

    + Read and interpret blueprints.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

    Essential Skills

    + Hands-on experience with cars, tractors, diesel trucks, or industrial manufacturing equipment.

    + Low voltage knowledge.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and pulling wire.

    + Mechanically inclined (able to turn a wrench).

    + Experience with assembly, hydraulics, diesel, and mechanical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be mechanically inclined.

    + Strong work ethic.

    + Hands-on experience is essential.

    Work Environment

     

    Work during the 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards in an industrial setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
