    Job Title: Saw Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Saw Operator where you will be responsible for operating all models of Band Saws with proficiency in loading and unloading the machines. You will ensure that products are cut within tolerance and squareness requirements, while also reading job routers, prints, and other procedural documents. Performing inspections and maximizing output for any given tasks will be part of your daily routine as you effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate all models of Band Saws.

    + Load and unload machines as directed.

    + Cut products within tolerance and squareness requirements.

    + Read job routers, prints, and procedural documents.

    + Perform inspections.

    + Maximize output for tasks.

    + Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Experience in machine operation and saw operation.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to read blueprints.

    + Experience in carpentry and general labor.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + General Machine Operation/Carpentry experience.

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a dynamic environment with options for 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm), 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm) with a 10% shift differential, and 3rd Shift (11pm-7am) with a 15% shift differential. Enjoy a structured work schedule in a facility equipped with advanced machinery and a supportive team atmosphere.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $49920.00/yr.
