Job Title: Janitorial Worker

Job Description

As a Janitorial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of a designated section of the building each night. Your primary duties will include cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, gathering and emptying trash and cardboard, servicing and supplying restrooms, and cleaning bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and floors. You will also be required to operate a floor scrubber and follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Additionally, you will assist the maintenance team with various projects.

Responsibilities

+ Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

+ Gather and empty trash and cardboard.

+ Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

+ Clean bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and floors.

+ Operate a floor scrubber.

+ Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.

+ Assist the maintenance team with projects.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in cleaning and janitorial duties.

+ Proficiency in operating a floor scrubber.

+ Ability to work independently on feet for the full shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ideally 6+ months of janitorial experience, but open to other relevant experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Shakopee, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
