    Job Title: Extrusion Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. This role involves setting up and adjusting extrusion lines, troubleshooting issues, ensuring quality assurance, and supporting team operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics and production setup experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and configure extrusion machines according to job specifications.

    + Adjust tooling and machine settings to meet dimensional and visual standards.

    + Perform material changeovers and machine cleanouts.

    + Diagnose and resolve issues related to tooling, materials, and machine performance.

    + Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and minimize downtime.

    + Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of tubing products.

    + Ensure compliance with quality control standards and documentation requirements.

    + Act as a backup Operator when needed.

    + Assist in training and mentoring new Operators on setup procedures and best practices.

    + Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production processes, and quality checks.

    + Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, assembly, packaging, and general production.

    + Background in plastics.

    + Experience in production setup or lead roles.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience with plastic extrusion processes is beneficial.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is clean and temperature-controlled, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The role operates in rotating shifts: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Mequon, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
