Job Title: Reliability Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Reliability Technician with a basic understanding of vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonics, and oil analysis concepts. This role requires hands-on experience with basic industrial machinery and tools, as well as a basic understanding of electrical systems and controls. Familiarity with CMMS software for data entry and the ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with performing vibration analysis on rotating equipment to identify potential issues such as misalignment and bearing defects.
+ Utilize thermography to detect electrical hot spots and motor overheating.
+ Conduct basic ultrasonic testing for leak detection and lubrication assessment.
+ Assist with motor circuit analysis to assess motor health.
+ Perform infrared inspections and ultrasonic air leak detection routes.
+ Execute plant inspection routes and document deficiencies using the maintenance work order system.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to understand maintenance requirements.
+ Perform ultrasonic lubrication routes and prepare equipment for oil analysis.
+ Inspect and replace filters as necessary.
+ Follow detailed preventive maintenance procedures and checklists accurately.
+ Identify and document equipment deficiencies, reporting them to supervision.
+ Assist with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery.
+ Support experienced technicians with repairs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
+ Utilize schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repair.
+ Detect faulty operations and defective materials, reporting them to supervision.
+ Collect and record predictive maintenance data to support trend analysis.
+ Assist in generating reports on equipment condition and maintenance activities.
+ Maintain accurate records.
Essential Skills
+ Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Experience with maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
+ Familiarity with CMMS software.
+ Understanding of hydraulic, vibration analysis, calibration, reliability testing, and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in predictive maintenance activities.
+ Ability to assist with motor circuit analysis.
+ Proficiency in using inspection tools such as ultrasonic lubrication and air leak detectors, infrared cameras, and electric meters.

Work Environment
This role is situated in a temperature-controlled food manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working without nicotine breaks throughout the day and must not be allergic to peanuts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
