Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and procurement logs. You will coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Your responsibilities will include writing and managing material purchase orders in coordination with the procurement and estimating teams, reviewing architectural and shop drawings, and assisting in submittal preparation and tracking.

Responsibilities
+ Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
+ Attend project meetings and document key decisions and action items.
+ Support field operations by resolving issues and ensuring alignment with project plans.
+ Assist with project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in construction management and project coordination.
+ 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction; glazing or façade experience is strongly preferred.
+ Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and project workflows.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
+ Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar project management tools is a plus.
+ Familiarity with fabrication and installation processes for glazing systems.
+ OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This role supports the Project Management team in the successful execution of commercial glazing projects. It involves coordination across departments, vendors, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring both independent and collaborative work styles.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tallahassee, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
