Description We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Hillsborough, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity designed to give the selected candidate a chance to grow their skills and develop professionally within our organization. The role involves supporting a shared services environment, handling critical accounting tasks, and contributing to payroll and accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Handle payroll operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Assist in reconciling accounts and preparing necessary accounting entries.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify financial accuracy.

• Support accounts receivable activities, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations across multiple companies.

• Maintain detailed and organized financial records.

• Contribute to general ledger management and tax-related tasks as needed.

• Communicate effectively within a dynamic office environment.

• Uphold company standards while working onsite at the designated location. Requirements • Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Familiarity with reconciling accounts and preparing accounting entries.

• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within a shared services environment.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration in a team setting.

• Ability to work onsite on a permanent basis in Hillsborough, North Carolina.

• Eagerness to learn and grow with attention to detail in accounting.

• Previous exposure to payroll or general accounting functions is preferred but not required.
