Description

We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist to join our client's team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and supporting logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery.

• Conduct inventory analysis and tracking to maintain accurate records and prevent discrepancies.

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.

• Coordinate logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution.

• Monitor annual inventory and asset management to optimize stock levels.

• Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Identify areas for process improvement within supply chain functions and implement effective solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles.

• Proficiency in supply chain logistics and inventory analysis.

• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and asset inventory management.

• Experience in handling purchase orders and tracking inventory.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.

• Familiarity with manufacturing industry processes and requirements.

• Detail-oriented approach to analyzing and improving supply chain operations.
