Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring the accurate application of customer payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and distribute customer invoices in compliance with company policies.

• Record customer payments, including wire transfers, checks, and credit card transactions, into Oracle systems.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as unapplied cash or payment issues in a timely manner.

• Monitor overdue accounts by preparing aging reports and recommending appropriate actions.

• Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date and precise.

• Collaborate with the accounting team during month-end and year-end closings by providing required documentation and insights.

• Maintain organized records of transactions and customer communications for efficient reference.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze financial data and generate reports.

• Participate in initiatives to improve processes and enhance efficiency in accounts receivable operations.

Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Oracle systems for financial management.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Familiarity with accounting software, CRM systems, and ERP platforms.

• Solid understanding of accounts receivable, billing, and cash handling procedures.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.
