Description We are looking for a skilled Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Sunnyvale, California. This position requires a proactive individual with expertise in benefits administration and payroll coordination, particularly in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations related to employee benefits, including open enrollments, leave management, and vendor collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee employee benefit programs, including open enrollments, routine updates, and resolving related issues.
• Coordinate with benefits brokers and vendors to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Administer payroll and benefit changes, maintaining accuracy using relevant systems.
• Update and maintain employee benefits records to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding Leaves of Absence (LOA) and complex benefits inquiries.
• Ensure timely implementation of benefit elections, adjustments, and employee status changes.
• Collaborate with payroll teams to address and resolve benefit-related concerns.
• Offer personalized assistance to employees navigating detailed benefits processes.
• Maintain thorough documentation and follow established procedures to support audits and reporting.
• Contribute to the improvement of benefits administration processes to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in high-paced environments.
• Proficient in using systems like ADP for managing benefits and payroll.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with brokers and handling benefit updates independently.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a supportive and patient approach.
• Familiarity with managing Leaves of Absence (LOA) and payroll processes is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage open enrollment processes and resolve employee inquiries.
