Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse accounting tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting systems and processes, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.

• Perform monthly reconciliations for operating accounts and trust accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Create budgets and forecasts, evaluating quarterly and annual cash flow needs.

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including deposits and tax payments.

• Facilitate domestic and international wire transfers and handle cash management operations.

• Prepare detailed financial statements and reconcile them with external accountants.

• Generate annual client reports detailing incoming and outgoing transactions.

• Develop internal management reports to support business decision-making.

• Maintain vendor and banking relationships, including insurance management.

• Review and process payments while ensuring accuracy of transactions across multiple accounts. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.

• Strong knowledge of corporate and sales tax processes.

• Experience with journal entries and general ledger management.

• Ability to perform detailed account and bank reconciliations monthly.

• Familiarity with preparing corporate tax returns and financial statements.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical abilities to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
