    Materials Coordinator/Logistics Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist/Materials Coordinator to manage and optimize inventory processes. The role involves monitoring, tracking, and maintaining accurate records of construction materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring efficient material distribution across multiple job sites.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor, track, and maintain accurate records of construction materials, tools, and equipment.

    + Conduct regular audits to ensure stock levels meet project requirements.

    + Implement systems to minimize waste and optimize material usage.

    + Collaborate with procurement teams to schedule and allocate materials for multiple job sites.

    + Develop and maintain delivery schedules to align with project milestones.

    + Ensure timely distribution of materials to job sites, avoiding delays and shortages.

    + Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve discrepancies, and manage lead times.

    + Work closely with site managers and project teams to forecast material needs.

    + Provide real-time updates on material availability and delivery status.

    + Troubleshoot logistical challenges and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

    + Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.

    + Prepare reports on material usage, costs, and logistics performance.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

     

    Skills and Qualifications Required

     

    + 2+ years of experience in logistics, inventory control, or procurement.

    + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    + Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

    Work Environment

    This position is based onsite at a job site in Beaver Dam, WI. It offers a long-term contract with potential to transition to a permanent role, along with advancement and training opportunities.

    This is a Contract position based out of Beaver Dam, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
