Position: Financial Planning & Analysis / Project Support & Cost Control
Level: Intermediate
Overview
This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial planning, project support, and audit compliance across a manufacturing and project-driven environment. The position requires strong analytical skills, cost accounting expertise, and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Key Responsibilities📊 Financial Planning & Analysis
+ Prepare monthly analytical packages for management and parent company.
+ Develop KPIs to monitor performance in areas such as inventory turns, service utilization, project margins, and speed to cash.
+ Deliver timely financial and management reporting.
+ Prepare monthly management review presentations and variance analysis.
+ Provide detailed monitoring and analysis of project budgets vs. actuals.
• Project Support & Cost Control
+ Ensure compliance with project contracts and actively monitor change orders.
+ Collaborate with PMs, analysts, procurement, and engineering to maintain monthly project cost forecasts.
+ Coordinate project reviews with management and stakeholders.
+ Support optimization of project cash flow, tax issues, and project financing.
+ Promote commercial awareness and provide input to project execution plans.
+ Oversee project accounting operations (invoicing, AP, AR).
+ Identify deviations from plans and recommend corrective actions.
+ Manage project accounting processes in SAP to ensure efficiency and control.
+ Support accurate time recording for the Lifetime Services (LTS) Group.
• Financial Reporting & Audit Compliance
+ Ensure accurate reporting of scheduling, budgets, and cost control.
+ Validate financial information accuracy between SAP and subproject reporting.
+ Recommend and execute corrective actions for compliance issues.
+ Participate in audits and prepare corrective action plans.
+ Oversee annual audit requirements for project business.
+ Assist with financial and regulatory reporting.
+ Train project and service teams on internal control procedures.

Qualifications
Must Have
+ 5+ years of finance experience in manufacturing, operational, or project environments
+ SAP or large ERP system experience
+ Strong cost accounting experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
Nice to Have
+ Manufacturing industry experience (excluding banking, insurance, healthcare)
+ Large project management exposure
+ Experience with cost forecasting and scheduling

This is a Permanent position based out of Bloomington, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90910.00 - $137500.00/yr.
