    FIELD TECHNICIAN V

    MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

    As a Field Technician V, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of IUSS Support. You will play a crucial role in installing hardware to support our overall mission.

     

    • Lead/Manage/Support the team in proper hardware installation.

    • Drive schedule, procuring material and hardware needed for installation.

    • Complete site surveys and write BESEPS to ensure a complete and accurate installation.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

    Bring your installation expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Technician V must have:

     

    • Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science or

    • Experience: 8+ years of related experience

    • Technical skills: Be able to install and cable equipment racks supporting a network infrastructure.

    • Security clearance level: Secret

    • US citizenship required

    • Role requirements: Familiarization with Naval Information Warfare Command installaltion and SOVT instructions a plus!

    The likely hourly rate for this position is between $39.55 - $53.51. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
