    VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park is seeking an **Experienced Veterinary Assistant** to join our **General Practice team full time** !

    Veterinary Assistant Duties

    + Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery

    + Collecting patient histories and assisting with physical exams

    + Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

    + Laboratory sample collection and processing

    + IV, IM, and Subcutaneous medication administration

    + Client education and counseling

    + Working collaboratively with veterinarians and all hospital departments

    + Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to all patients

    Schedule

    **Monday–Friday:** 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    **Rotating Saturdays:** 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

     

    _Flexible scheduling available_

    Compensation

    **$17 – $26 per hour** , based on skill set, experience, and licensure status

    + **Veterinary Assistant (VA):** $17 – $20/hr

    + **Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT):** $20 – $26/hr
