Network Technician (Deployed Support Specialist) – On-Site in Port Hueneme, CA

Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance

Certifications: OEM Certification (CCST, CCT) or higher (CCNA), plus CompTIA Security+ CE

About the Role

Join a mission-focused team supporting the U.S. Navy! We are seeking a Network Technician (Deployed Support Specialist) who is ready to take on a critical role in maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure. This position offers the chance to work in a secure environment, interact with high-ranking officials, and contribute to operational excellence.

Shift Details

Our team operates between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, giving you flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within that window.

Key Responsibilities

+ Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain IT systems in both stand-alone and client-server environments.

+ Integrate multiple information systems in a networked environment and resolve customer IT issues.

+ Perform hardware upgrades and repairs to maintain mission capability.

+ Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and transmission media.

+ Ensure proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware/software for efficient network operation.

+ Provide autonomous support and interact professionally with high-ranking officials.

Required Qualifications

+ Active DoD Secret Clearance

+ OEM Certification (CCST, CCT) or higher (CCNA)

+ CompTIA Security+ CE certification

+ 4+ years of IT experience, including networking equipment support

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

+ Familiarity with advanced networking concepts and protocols

+ Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with leadership

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.80 - $38.94/hr.
