Description

Responsible for the electrical systems at the NCAR Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC) located in Cheyenne Wyoming. This is a minimum Journeyman level electrician position, also requiring maintenance of the NCAR – Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC). The employee must be willing to learn and assist with all aspects of facility maintenance, ranging from simple to complex maintenance tasks in the area of expertise. The NWSC is staffed for 12-14 hours per day through two 10 hour shifts. This position would participate in covering various shifts as assigned and also participating in an on-call rotation for one week durations per on-call instance.

High school diploma or GED; and at least three years of commercial or industrial experience as a Journeyman Electrician; and a valid Wyoming State Journeyman Electrician’s License.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
