Start a new Career in 2026 Position: School Aide in Pasadena

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide in PASADENA, CA to support students who require instructional and/or behavioral assistance. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the special education department, classroom teacher, or supervising designee to help students succeed academically and socially.

The School Aide may also assist with personal care, physical mobility, and therapeutic needs as directed by healthcare professionals such as rehabilitation specialists or social workers.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classroom and school settings.

+ Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required.

+ Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

+ Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

+ Support therapeutic activities as directed by qualified professionals.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local requirements.

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).

+ Completion of TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray (if applicable).

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulations).

+ Commitment to professional standards of practice.
