• Maintenance Technician I - 2nd Shift

    Starting Pay: $24.00 per hour Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 p.m. -- 6 a.m. Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.

This is a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement!

    What You Will Do:

    + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smooth and prevent breakdowns.

    + Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code.

    + Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.

    + Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.

    + Always working safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules.

    What You Will Bring:

    + High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.

    + Minimum of 0 to 2 years of related experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

    + Ability to complete work orders and enter the required paperwork into a computer.

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
