The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology at Johns Hopkins is seeking applications for master clinicians or clinical educators at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher. The successful candidates will join a dynamic and collegial faculty and demonstrate achievement in clinical practice, teaching, and scholarship. These positions represent unique opportunities to participate in a successful and expanding practice with several clinical centers of excellence in Baltimore and its surrounding counties.
Responsibilities:
+ Patient Care: Provide medical care and consultations for adult patients exhibiting kidney disease in both inpatient and ambulatory settings within the Johns Hopkins Health System Hospitals and University Outpatient Centers. Deliver medical care to adult patients undergoing dialysis at affiliated outpatient dialysis centers with a growing and successful home dialysis program. Participate actively in the weekly, weekend, and holiday call schedule.
+ Education: Support the education of engaging medical students, residents, and fellows through teaching activities. Provide curriculum-related training, participate in lecture series, and facilitate discussions on scientific publications.
+ Research: Our world-renowned research spans basic, translational, and clinical investigations with strong and unique collaborations across the Schools of Medicine and Public Health. The successful candidates will be able to contribute to our growing clinical trials program and seek funding opportunities of their own.

+ Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
+ A minimum of one year of experience in patient care and scholarly work.
+ Possession or eligibility for a Maryland medical license.
+ Board certification in Nephrology or certification, by fellowship director, of eligibility to sit for certification exam.
Salary: Assistant Professor - $125,558 to $222,552; Associate Professor - $122,590 to $257,215
