    Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center, a respected long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking compassionate and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) / State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our dedicated team.

     

    As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional care and support for our residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff while growing in a positive, team-focused environment.

    Position Summary

    CNA / STNA professionals at Scarlet Oaks play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, support resident comfort, and ensure safety and dignity in all aspects of care.

     

    This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Provide hands-on care for residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and repositioning.

    + Assist residents with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met throughout each shift.

    + Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.

    + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and daily log updates.

    + Keep rooms clean, organized, and safe while promoting a homelike environment.

    + Support residents’ rights by treating all individuals with kindness, dignity, and respect.

    + Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

    + Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Nursing or supervisory staff.

    Qualifications and Skills

    + Current and valid CNA or STNA certification for the state of Ohio.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

    + Physical strength and endurance for a fast-paced care setting.

    + CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

    + Attention to detail and an understanding of patient care policies and procedures.
