Responsibilities
This role performs work within a Brightstars Warehouse. As part of the warehouse and inventory team, it will move materials, parts and various Brightstar products using machinery and handheld equipment. This role is essential in the daily functions of this Brightstar team, supporting our lottery and gaming customers.
• Move raw materials and parts by using heavy and light machinery and handheld equipment
• Work with SAP and other basic computer applications to document, maintain and improves workflows
• Support inventory management and stock incoming product
• Maintain stock in work areas and ensure inventory accuracy
• Handles materials in receiving, picking, shipping, and warehouse support
• Performs problem solving and discrepancy investigation of inventory reports
• Performs material movement activities using accurate material handling techniques
• Documents and transacts material movements accurately and timely
• Locates material in assigned area and transports as appropriate
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping, receiving or general production related experience
• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to quality
• A high degree of integrity and work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity
• Ability to work under minimal direction and tight time constraints
• Ability to work independently, but also partner as a team player
• Basic computer and math skills required, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred
• Must be able to navigate folders/files on the company network and enter data into basic databases
• Must be able to stand/walk a majority of the workday, bend and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to reach material at or above shoulder height and have good dexterity
• Must be able to effectively communicate with management level staff, suppliers, and customers
