Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join the Structurals division at a large manufacturer in investment metal casting in the PNW. This person would be the liaison between your clients and the company's internal teams. This role will involve managing technical problem-solving skills and commercial account management. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with technical knowledge to leverage engineering solutions while building and maintaining relationships. The ideal candidate would have a background in high-tech manufacturing as well as experience writing/drafting quotes, proposals, and forecasting for future business.

Key-Responsibilities:

*Own customer relationships across assigned accounts. Act as the single point of contact to drive schedules, pre‑production activities, quotes, and opportunities

*Technical Translation: Translate engineering needs into commercial solutions

*Quoting & Forecasting: Draft proposals, write quotes, and maintain forecasts

*Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with engineering, operations, planning, and quality to resolve technical issues.

Skills and Requirements

*2–5 years in sales or related role with technical/engineering foundation

*Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or relevant experience

*Strong writing skills, drafting quotes, maintaining forecasts, and writing proposals *Proficiency in Microsoft Office

*Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems

*Military experience encouraged
