Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Loan Partner with an active Florida NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator license to support high‑velocity, compliant loan production. You will set up and manage pre‑approval applications, collect and validate borrower documentation, send out document requests, structure and price loans, and coordinate seamlessly across loan officers, processors, and underwriters. You’ll proactively surface, diagnose, and resolve issues to maximize efficiency, uphold service levels, and hit production goals—all while adhering strictly to federal and Florida regulatory guidelines and investor requirements (including submitting exception requests when warranted).

Key Responsibilities

• Pre‑Approval & Intake

• Launch and maintain pre‑approval applications; verify borrower eligibility against program and investor guidelines.

• Collect, index, and track required documentation; manage conditions and outstanding stipulations.

• Loan Structuring & Pricing

• Analyze scenarios to recommend optimal products and pricing; ensure locking strategies align with borrower goals and compliance requirements.

• Prepare detailed loan summaries and rationale for underwriting review; submit and track exception requests with appropriate documentation.

• Pipeline & Stakeholder Coordination

• Orchestrate communication among loan officers, processors, and underwriters to keep files moving on schedule.

• Escalate risks and barriers early; drive issue resolution and maintain clean, audit‑ready files.

• Compliance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to TRID/TILA/RESPA and all applicable Florida statutes and investor overlays.

• Maintain meticulous records, data integrity, and version control; support internal audits and QC findings.

• Borrower Experience

• Provide timely, transparent updates; set expectations for milestones, conditions, and closing logistics.

Champion a consultative approach that balances speed with compliance and clarity.

This is a fully onsite role in Tampa, FL.

Skills and Requirements

Active Florida NMLS MLO license in good standing

3–5+ years of recent mortgage experience in a loan partner/processor/LOA capacity within a retail or independent mortgage bank environment.

Ability to quote rates/do origination

Demonstrated fluency with investor guidelines and ability to draft, submit, and follow through on exception requests.
