    Job Description

    An employer in the insurance industry is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to join a fully remote team. This strategic role will lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions, primarily focused on Sales Cloud implementations with integrations for upgrades and downgrades leveraging middleware (e.g., MuleSoft or equivalent). The architect will drive platform stability, system monitoring, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy while building and enhancing around Sales Cloud and absorbing some Service Cloud work. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. The architect will set architectural standards, create integration strategies, and guide the team through end-to-end implementations. Responsibilities include managing developers, ensuring quality deliverables, and occasionally picking up development stories. The role also involves preparing diagrams and presentations for stakeholders, championing DevSecOps practices, and working heavily on integrations across multiple platforms and public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP). The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to both technical teams and business leaders.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-level integrations end-to-end (including Master Data Management solutions), with experience working with middleware tools like MuleSoft

     

    Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Salesforce Architect, able to provide examples of multiple end-to-end implementations

    Salesforce System Architecture certification and Application Architecture certification

    Must have a learning mindset, ideally active within the Salesforce community (attends conferences, etc.)

     

    Comfortable helping to establish frameworks and best practices (i.e. creating diagrams and documentation)

     

    Familiarity with Industry Clouds (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud) and ability to leverage specialized features to meet business needs.

     

    Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities across Core Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions.
