Xylem is seeking a **CDL A truck driver** for immediate hire, based out of **Indianapolis, IN** . This role requires regional travel, including extended overnight trips as needed, operating 48’ or 53’ box trailers. The driver routinely interfaces with internal customers and support groups in a professional manner.
**Hourly Rate:** $31-$35
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Ensure strict compliance with EWT corporate and customer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
+ Adhere to DOT, state, and federal laws/regulations.
+ Utilize electronic DOT logging on company-issued equipment.
+ Accurately complete electronic data entry tasks on orders.
+ Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.
+ Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
+ Routinely lift up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out of trailers as required.
+ Load and unload cargo as needed.
+ Maintain and check vehicle fluids and gauges for road worthiness.
Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
+ **Current, valid CDL A license (Required)**
+ Clean driving record and ability to meet company vehicle eligibility requirements.
+ Ability and willingness to travel long distances, including overnight stays and extended trips as required.
+ Commitment to safety and safe driving practices.
+ Motivated and willing to learn about the water industry.
+ Knowledge of weight distribution and limits.
General Requirements:
+ Plan daily routing for collections and deliveries based on schedules.
+ Transport products to and from designated regional destinations within allotted time frames.
+ Verify truck contents against shipping documents, ensuring compliance with weight distribution and limits.
+ Perform basic order entry and customer service functions during deliveries.
+ Identify opportunities for other drivers or additional company products and services.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated pay range for this position is $31-35 per hour. The starting pay rate is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, and work location.
