Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sharepoint On-Premises Engineer/Administrator to join one of our largest clients in the financial services industry. In this role, you will manage and maintain the SharePoint infrastructure, ensuring stability and performance across a large-scale environment. You will oversee SharePoint applications on their respective servers, administer user roles and permissions, and handle server administration tasks. The position requires expertise in configuring applications, applying patches, and testing functionality to maintain system integrity. You will work closely with the SQL backend to troubleshoot issues, identify problems, and collaborate with the database team when necessary. A primary responsibility will be supporting on-premises applications, including workflow manager servers and resolving patching or deployment challenges. This role focuses heavily on administrative tasks rather than development, encompassing general systems administration duties to keep the environment secure and efficient.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience with SharePoint SE or SharePoint 2016

• Strong knowledge of SQL

• Proficiency in PowerShell

Hands-on experience with SharePoint administration
