    **Position Summary:** The Senior Job Coach provides program oversight assistance and supervision to the employment specialist, job coach, peer specialist and employment staff within the DOHMH/ACE programs. This role ensures program compliance, strengthens staff development, and enhances service quality across boroughs. The Senior Job Coach also delivers direct client coaching, builds employer partnerships, conducts community outreach, oversees documentation, and supports the achievement of all ACE program performance metrics. This position requires strong communication, leadership, assessment, and organizational abilities to ensure both client and staff success.

    Essential Accountabilities:

    + Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and support to Job Coaches, Employment Specialists and Peer specialist.

    + Serve as a primary point of reference for staff questions, challenges, and career development.

    + Review, revise, and approve all program documentation prior to submission for accuracy and compliance.

    + Meet weekly with the Division Director to discuss program updates, concerns, and solutions.

    + Provide individualized job coaching, including resume development, mock interviews, and skill-building.

    + Assess client strengths, barriers, and employment needs to create tailored career plans.

    + Support clients with on-the-job training and ongoing employment guidance.

    + Administer skills assessments and recommend training or vocational supports when needed.

    + Build and maintain relationships with employers across assigned boroughs.

    + Match ACE participants to job openings aligned with their skills and career goals.

    + Act as a liaison between clients, employers, and management to support retention and success.

    + Monitor job retention and provide follow-up support to promote long-term employment outcomes.

    + Ensure adherence to DOHMH/ACE guidelines, compliance requirements, and program documentation standards.

    + Assist with developing job coaching strategies, staff tools, and internal training sessions.

    + Track program metrics and assist staff in meeting annual targets, including unique individuals served.

    + Conduct onsite visits to evaluate service delivery and maintain high-quality client engagement.

    + Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with agency and funder requirements.

    + Conduct outreach to expand referral sources and promote ACE services within the community.

    + Engage community partners, organizations, and service providers to strengthen program visibility.

    + Participate in outreach events, presentations, and networking activities as needed.

    Job Qualifications

    Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing vocational, employment, or job coaching services to individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment. Proven experience in competitive employment settings and knowledge of employer expectations. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring staff. Valid NYS driver’s license required; ability to travel for fieldwork, employer visits, and community outreach.
