What you will be doing:

+ Repair and/or prepare all wall and trim surfaces to include filing nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler.

+ Hang drywall, tape, and sand.

+ Select premixed paints, or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.

+ Spread drop cloths over floors and room furnishings, and cover surfaces such as baseboards, door-frames, and windows with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.

+ Paint surfaces with brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers.

+ Apply paint with cloth, brush, sponge, or fingers to simulate wood grain, marble, brick, or tile effects.

+ Erect scaffolding or set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.

+ Wash surfaces prior to painting with mildew remover where needed

+ Assist in maintaining maintenance materials and supplies

+ Responsible for daily clean-up of Maintenance Shop

What we’ll expect from you:

+ Valid drivers’ license along with good driving record and auto insurance is required

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

+ Be able to work as a team and independently

+ Help others both at the site and other sites

+ Be flexible in transferring to other local regional sites if required.
