About the Role
At Valley Cooperative Association, we know every team member is essential. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to join our warehouse team and help ensure our inventory is accurate, organized, and ready for our customers.
In this role, you’ll manage inventory counts, maintain accurate records, assist customers with order pickups, and keep our warehouse organized and efficient. This is your chance to make a real impact, work independently, and be recognized for your precision and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct scheduled and ad hoc inventory cycle counts and document any discrepancies.
+ Maintain proper location labels, stickers, and documentation for easy product tracking.
+ Use technology, including Vocollect and inventory management systems, to support accurate processes.
+ Assist customers with order pickups professionally and efficiently.
+ Organize seasonal and pre-order items for easy identification and retrieval.
+ Follow safe work habits, keeping the warehouse clean and audit-ready.
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations.
+ Operate material handling equipment safely to move and organize products.
What You Bring
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred.
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory/ERP systems preferred.
What Success Looks Like
+ Inventory Accuracy Rate: Achieve 98%+ accuracy in cycle counts.
+ Order Fulfillment Efficiency: Complete customer orders and pickups on time and error-free.
+ Audit & Safety Compliance: Maintain zero safety incidents and pass audits on first review.
