Position Highlights
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for keeping all aspects of the physical plants, equipment, and buildings and grounds of Regional Health Services of Howard County in good condition. Develops and implements a facilities plan, evaluates new and existing rules and code regulations pertaining to the physical plant operations and their impact on the hospital, clinics, and CHS. Responsible for the daily management of the maintenance department crew. Oversees all construction projects at our facilities. Serves as co-chair member of the Safety/Security Committee.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
One year certificate from college or technical school in a closely related field; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have or acquire a Boiler Operator's License within first year of employment.
HVAC and electrical experience preferred.
Computer skills are essential.
Valid driver's license and must be insurable.
